Jewyo Rhii invited Sudsiri Pui-Ock and David Michael DiGregorio to stay over at Galerie Ferdinand van Dieten-d'Eendt from January 2nd to 14th.

The gallery's next exhibition "Small" is organized around the physical traces of their co-inhabitancy. The three artists share the common experience of often being smaller than the rest of the world, although each one has individually developed an autonomous, if not unique, method of dealing with one's particular and specific place in the world. During their stay, they will explore these relationships with their surroundings, their individual ways of living smallness and the interaction of it. These different methods of the three - otherwise similar small people - will have their residue in the gallery space after the two weeks.
The meeting of the individuals as artists, friends, opponents and supporters results in varied works. The ceramic plates of Sudsiri Pui-Ock serve as the catalyst of the artists' conversation. The drawings on the plates show the environment of her old place related to her presence. David Michael DiGregorio makes a musical and emblematic performance in order to connect with a recalled landscape. Jewyo Rhii makes instant sculptures while she communicates to the two artists about her feeling of inadequacy. The sense of her surroundings frailly takes for real place in the gallery space. Thus making her drawings, photos and videos not a registration of frailty, but a very manifestation of it.
