Drawings on each plate are the story inspired by the real-life experiences and imagination. Things or people that existed, wishing to be, used to be or thought that they were there, during the 2 years that I was in Holland, are displaced.
The Dutch take proud of “Delfts Blauw” that is considered their national art heritage.
At first, during the time that not many countries traveling for trading across the world and Holland was one of them, it was the ceramics imported from China.
Later, the passion for the ceramic wares drove the Dutch to produce them in the small city, Delfs. The cost was less expensive.
At the beginning the drawings of the blue on the white were still similar to Chinese designs and patterns which, later, were adapted to European designs.
In present, Delfts Blauw from Delfts is a luxury souvenirs from Holland. However, the inexpensive Delfts Blauw ones with drawing of the little Dutch boy girl kissing each other are made in China.

The year that I arrived in Holland, was the year that the Thai embassy celebrated 200 anniversary Dutch-Thai Relations.
Last 200 years, the Dutch ships arrived to the shore of Siam.
200 years later, I came to Amsterdam by China Airlines.
